TESOL Bangladesh Journal (TBJ) is a flagship journal of the TESOL Society of Bangladesh founded in 2014 and publishes two issues (July and December) in a year. TESOL Society of Bangladesh is an equal opportunity platform for the practitioners of the English Language in Bangladesh. It is a community of English language teachers trying to bring Bangladeshi ELT professionals and the prospective practitioners of ELT and applied linguists under one roof by establishing a network that encourages diversity and respectful professional collaborations among educators by organizing programs with national and international collaboration. As part of its commitment to promote local innovations and practices and flourish research for sustainable development, the association publishes a scholarly journal that will bring together English language professionals from around the world to share, learn, and further English language teaching and research.

TESOL Bangladesh Journal (TBJ) is a peer-reviewed, electronic, and open-access journal based on current theory, research, and practices in the field of TESOL. TBJ is a double-blind peer-review journal dedicated to enhancing and disseminating scholarly work from local, regional, and international researchers and practitioners in second and foreign-language contexts to engage in the ways that research and theorizing can inform and shape English language teaching and learning perspectives and practices. The Editor(s) of TBJ is supported by a nationally and internationally renowned Advisory Board which assists the Editor(s) in the development of the Journal, and by an Editorial Panel consisting of national and international scholars in the field of TESOL, ELT, and Applied Linguistics. 

TBJ promotes TESOL research that is locally grounded, however, regionally and internationally relevant.
